I was talking to this girl I just met and she started going on about superstars. I asked her if she was superstar herself and she said she was because she was an elite. The only thing is, she isn't. So I told her that elites have a million views per minute etc etc. And guess what she replied with? That I better shut up and that I was such a wanna-be elite and that of course she was an elite because she had Ellie and a bunch of other people on her best friends list! (Who didn't add her on their best friends list!) Of course she was ruder than this, but I'm not dropping to her standard.
This was just something so unbelievable, that a girl was proud to be an ''elite'' and her best friends that didn't even add her. Sad, huh?

This upcoming post is dedicated to all those wannabe-elites on SD.

1. THE REASON
Why do you want to be famous on a virtual place? So, you're really desperate for attention, and you get to be a well know ''elite'', is it going to make a difference in real life? N.O.
2. THE PUBLICITY
Being famous for being a great user is a thing. Being famous for being an elite is another thing, way worse. Some desperate users add all the ''elites'' on SD on their best friends' list, even if they don't talk to them, as long as the ''elites'' add them or at least the people know that she's tight with the ''elites''. It's just sad.
3. THE MEDOLL
All the wannabe-SD elites have the same ugly medoll: Short hair, a frown, no colourful clothing and all those things. The ''elites'' are far better then them - love colours and dressing up their medoll.
4. THE CLOTHES
Have you noticed that some people try to wear similar to the ''elites'' they look up to? Why don't they just get their own style, for pete's sake. It disgusts me to see users only wearing... black, for example, because the user they look up to is wearing black.
5. THE CLUBS
The wannabe-elites only join the clubs that their role model is in or those that have to do with fashion. No fun clubs, just fashion. And they might not even like a brand, but they still join the club because their role model is in it.
